I will be offering a new class on Composition on March 10th.
The class will meet from 5-8PM on four consecutive Thursday evenings.
The location will be the new Pomona Valley Artist Association’s education center located in the Montclair Plaza, in Montclair.
The course will provide all photographers, from beginners to experienced, an insight into how to create better pictures as the result of better composition.
Each week there will be a review/feedback for each student’s images.
Course fee: $100 (payable the fist meeting)

The exhibit continues to receive very favorable reviews from all who have seen it. The wide range of photographic styles and subject matter keeps the viewer on their toes as the move through the exhibit. There are more than 100 images dispersed across 18 black felt panels. Each panel has a master print and surrounding images that support a theme suggested by an “inspirational” quote plate at the bottom of the panel. The photographs were created with a wide variety of image creation devices. The visual strength of the photographs is so strong, that it is difficult, albeit unnecessary, to attempt to discern between high-end cameras and cell phone images. It really doesn’t make any difference once you let down your “What-kind-of-camera-did-you-use” mindless inquiries. The truth lies in the face value of the images and the mindful moment in which they were captured. Each of the photographers featured in the exhibit rose to the occasion and stretched to reach the next rung on their own creative ladders.
